What does “you own the code” mean?
Source and Managed + Custom come with a private GitHub repo, store and website admin included. With Source you download it, have another developer change it, or move it to your own hosting; Managed + Custom moves to your GitHub after six months of continuous rental.
How are change requests handled?
The Ownsite team reads your request and quotes it in credits; once you approve, we make the change, and you look at a preview and accept it. Nothing reaches your live site without your OK.
What happens when the trial ends?
The site pauses until you pick a plan. Your data is kept.
